Hi! There is a lot of great value in staying at Lago Mar Resort over during this holiday season, especially for families.
Over Thanksgiving, parents and kids have plenty to enjoy:
Tuesday, November 26, 2013: Bingo Night, including pizza and a make your own ice cream sundae station
Wednesday, November 27, 2013: Farm Animal Night, including a barbeque for all
Thursday, November 28, 2013: Thanksgiving Dinner, a festive meal of traditional fare prepared by Chef Phil and his staff
Friday, November 29, 2013: Circus Night, including a party on the beach and a dinner buffet in the Ocean Grill
Saturday, November 20, 2013: Mexican Fiesta Night, including a make your own taco dinner and plenty of dancing
What’s great about all of our Children’s Program activities is that they are complimentary for all hotel guests. I believe these programs really make Lago Mar stand out in comparison to any other hotel in Fort Lauderdale.
From Christmas to New Year’s, we also have a full schedule of events for children and families to enjoy. Every night from December 26, 2013 – January 1, 2013, guests can participate in a fun, new activity. All members and guests are invited to our three-course Christmas Dinner and New Year’s Eve countdown in the Wine Cellar.
On New Year’s Eve, we will start the celebrating in Acquario and then move the party to the Wine Cellar Lounge. In Acquario, we will have a stunning New Year’s Eve menu, with options ranging from butternut squash ravioli to Bell & Evans fried chicken and waffles to lobster tail with sabayon, available from 6:00 – 11:00 pm. Our pianist will help you transition from dinner to party, tickling the ivories in the restaurant from 7:00 – 10:00 pm and then heading to the Wine Cellar Lounge to keep the music going until 2014. The Wine Cellar Lounge will be decked out with party favors, sweets and flat screen TVs to watch the ball drop. For our members who want to stay the night, we are extending a special rate for the evening ($199, plus tax and gratuity).
The holidays are always a special time to be at Lago Mar. I know several families that have made ringing in the New Year in the Lounge an annual tradition, some going back 20 years and never missing a year! I’m confident this will be another holiday season to remember.
