May 14- 19 Viva Florida 500 - Celebrating Florida's 500th anniversary, come step aboard a replica Spanish Galleon and travel back in time to the age of European exploration in the Americas. While docked at Bahia Mar Marina, the ship's deck will be open to the public with free tours 9a-5p.
May 25- Great American Beach Party - Celebrate this Memorial Day weekend at the City of Fort Lauderdale’s 4th Annual Great American Beach Party on Fort Lauderdale Beach. The free event features music, live performances, and activities for the entire family.
June 14-August 2- Starlight Musicals - Join us Fridays as we celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the Bank of America Starlight Musicals. This free event will showcase an outstanding lineup of entertainment featuring a variety of jazz, rock, reggae, rhythm and blues and tropical music.
July 4- Fourth of July Spectacular - The City of Fort Lauderdale celebrates America's Independence Day with a free show on Fort Lauderdale Beach.
