Lago Mar is just five miles north of the Fort Lauderdale airport (about a ten-minute ride) at 1700 South Ocean Lane. The resort is about 15 minutes from downtown Fort Lauderdale, and about 45 minutes from Palm Beach and Miami.

Directions from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport
- Take US-1/Federal Highway North out of the airport to 17th Street and turn right (east)
- Continue eastward until you cross the 17th Street Causeway Bridge
- Continue through the first light and turn right at the Church By The Sea on Mayan Drive
- At the stop sign, turn right on Ocean Drive
- Continue over a small bridge and turn left on Grace Drive
- At the next stop sign, turn left and Lago Mar Resort & Club is a half-block ahead on the right
Directions from I-95 North and I-95 South
- Take the exit for I-595/Port Everglades Expressway east
- Exit onto US-1/Federal Highway North
- At 17th Street, turn right (east) and follow the directions above
